KPD Investigates Shooting at the Amco

Killeen Police investigate shooting at the Amco Motel.

Officers responded to the Amco Motel, located at 404 S. Fort Hood Street, on May 16, 2017, at approximately 1:00 a.m., after a 911 call was received about shots fired at this location. As the officers were responding they were told that a 911 call was received about a shooting victim at the Seven Eleven Convenience Store, located at 620 S. Fort Hood Street. Upon the officers’ arrival, they located a 43 year-old black male suffering from a gunshot wound.  He was immediately transported to Seton Medical Center Harker Heights in stable condition.

There has been no suspect identified and there is no suspect description at this time.
