Killeen Police Charge Suspect with Murder
Killeen, TX (September 30, 2022): Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division Robbery-Homicide Unit received three complaints from the Bell County District Attorney’s Office charging 40-year-old Antonio Bernard Heath with Murder, Tampering with Evidence and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon. Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke arraigned Heath, setting his total bond at $1,100,000. Heath is awaiting transport to the Bell County Jail
Detectives continue to investigate this Murder and there is no additional information at this time.

NEWS RELEASE: KILLEEN POLICE INVESTIGATE A MURDER ON LEO LANE
Killeen, TX (September 29, 2022): Killeen Police are actively investigating the Murder of a 30-year-old male.
Officers with the Killeen Police Department were dispatched at approximately 2:38 a.m. to the 600 block of Leo Lane on Thursday, September 29, 2022, in reference to a gunshot victim. Upon the officers’ arrival, they located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers started to perform life saving measures until paramedics arrived. The victim, Denzell Roderick Jordan, was pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke at 3:30 a.m. He ordered an autopsy to be performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a domestic incident occurred at the residence when the suspect displayed a weapon and shot the victim. The suspect fled prior to police arriving.
Through the investigation, detectives located and arrested the suspect, who is currently in the Killeen City Jail.
This is the fourteenth Murder in the City of Killeen for this year.
Detectives are actively investigating this Murder and there is no additional information at this time.

Killeen Police Investigate a Murder on Leo Lane
Killeen, TX (September 29, 2022): Killeen Police are actively investigating the Murder of a 30-year-old male.

FORT HOOD SOLDIER CHARGED WITH MURDER
Killeen, TX (September 21, 2022): Murder suspect is currently in the Bell County Jail.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and the suspect were involved in a domestic dispute when he displayed a handgun and shot the victim. The suspect left the residence to Fort Hood where he was later detained by military police. Officers with the Killeen Police Department were notified, and they arrested the suspect and transported him to the Killeen City Jail.
The Killeen Police Department Robbery-Homicide Unit presented the case to the Bell County District Attorney’s Office. Michael Leonard Moore, 35 years-old, was charged with Murder. Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson arraigned Michael Leonard Moore. He set his bond at $1,000,000 and ordered a GPS ankle monitor be installed should he post bond.
The information on the victim, 34-year-old female, will be released once next of kin notifications have been made.
The case is still an active investigation, and no other information will be released at this time.

Killeen, TX (September 20, 2022): Killeen Police currently has one suspect in custody and is currently in the Killeen City Jail pending charges. The suspect is an active duty military soldier.
The information on the victim, 34-year-old female, will be released once next of kin notifications have been made.
The case is still under investigation and no other information will be released at this time.

Upon the officers’ arrival, they located one victim who was deceased. The victim was pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson at 9:00 a.m. He ordered an autopsy to be performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas. The name of the victim has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
We want to let the community know that this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the general public.

KILLEEN POLICE CONDUCT A SHOOTING INVESTIGATION
Killeen, TX (September 8, 2022) Killeen Police are investigating a shooting involving a 9-year-old victim.
On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at approximately 1:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Harker Heights Seton Hospital in reference to a female juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound in the foot. The child was subsequently transported to McLane Children’s Medical Center in Temple.
Through the investigation, it revealed that the child’s mother and the suspect were involved in a domestic altercation at their residence located in the 5700 block of Chuckwagon Circle. During the altercation the suspect displayed a handgun and discharged it towards the wall, striking the child that was in a room connected to that wall.
Officers located the suspect at the residence, and he was arrested without incident. He was transported to the Killeen City Jail.
This case was reviewed by the Bell County District Attorney’s Office and two complaints for Aggravated Assault and one complaint for Tampering with Evidence were returned charging 45-year-old Michael Mainet Alice. Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson arraigned Alice and he is currently awaiting transport to the Bell County Jail.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate this incident and there is no other information at this time.
