KPD Investigates Two Late Night Robberies

Killeen Police respond to two late night convenience store robberies.

Officers responded to the Star Mart Convenience Store located at 305 E. Stan Schlueter Loop on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at approximately 9:45p.m., after receiving a call that the store had been robbed.  The employee told officers that two suspects, one armed with a handgun, entered the store and demanded money; the suspects fled on foot westbound.

The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’3” tall, average build and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black bandana covering his face.

The second suspect is described as a tall slim black male and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black bandana covering his face.

Officers were dispatched to the Super Quick Convenience Store located at 3101 W. Stan Schlueter Loop, after receiving a 911 call that the store had been robbed at approximately 11:52 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017.   Upon the officers’ arrival, employees told them that a black male entered the store armed and demanded money.  The employees complied with the demand and the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 5’4” tall, 190 pounds and was last seen wearing a yellow and black bandana covering his face.
