Killeen Police Arrest Murder Suspect

UPDATE – November 1, 2019

The Criminal Investigation Division, Homicide Unit, has identified the suspect involved in the Murder of 36 year-old Simeon Onesimus Shaw. 

A warrant for Murder was obtained and on Friday, November 1, 2019, at approximately 8:20 a.m., with the assistance of the United States Marshals – Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, 19 year-old Andre Lovell Stewart was located and arrested for Murder.  Stewart was transported to the Killeen City Jail and is awaiting arraignment.

Killeen Police Investigates a Homicide on Mulford.

On Friday, October 4, 2019, at approximately 11:11 p.m., officers were dispatched to 1800 block of Mulford Street in reference to a 911 call about a shooting victim.   Upon the officers arrival they located a 36 year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.  Officers’ immediately started to perform life saving measures until paramedics arrived.  The victim was transported to the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in critical condition.

The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 11:58 p.m. by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke. He ordered an autopsy to be performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.
