Fourth Suspect Arrested in Shooting

April 11, 2019 – UPDATE

On Thursday, April 11, 2019, 41 year-old Daran Cedric Hill was located and apprehended without incident in North Carolina.

The Killeen Police Department would like to thank the United States Marshal’s Service-Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, Waco and Austin Divisions, the East North Carolina Violent Fugitive Task Force and the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in locating this fugitive.


Killeen Police Investigate a late night shooting.

On Sunday, April 7, 2019, at approximately 11:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Longview Drive in reference to a 911 call about a shooting victim.  Upon the officers’ arrival they located a 15 year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.  The victim was immediately transported to the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, and subsequently transported to Baylor Scott & White in critical but stable condition.
