KPD Arrests Wanted Man for Murder

On Tuesday, March 20, 2018, the Killeen Police Department was notified by the Converse Police Department of an active investigation into a Capital Murder that occurred in their city on February 25, 2018.  Information was received that a wanted fugitive in that incident had ties to Killeen.

On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at approximately 9:45 a.m., detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division, Special Missions Unit, along with the assistance of the United States Marshal Service – Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, located and arrested 17 year-old Isaiah Luis Westman for Capital Murder, without incident. Westman was transported to the Killeen City Jail.

The Converse Police Department and Texas Rangers continue to investigate this incident.
