KPD Makes Arrests in Prostitution Operation

Killeen Police conduct a prostitution operation and arrest subjects involved.

Detectives with the Killeen Police Department Organized Crime Unit conducted an undercover online prostitution operation on Friday, May 19, 2017, after receiving numerous citizen complaints about human trafficking and the promotion of prostitution on Internet sites.

Undercover officers posted ads on different websites and ten individuals contacted the officers making agreements to exchange money for sex.  During the operation, detectives arrested seven individuals for prostitution related offenses and three for possession of a controlled substance.

The Killeen Police Department will continue to conduct follow up investigations and refer cases to the Bell County District and County Attorney’s offices
