KPD Looking for a Person of Interest

 

The Killeen Police Department’s Homicide Unit is asking for the community’s assistance in locating Arsenio Joseph Griffin.  He is a person of interest regarding the Homicide that occurred on Tucker Drive on November 9, 2015.

The Killeen Police Department is investigating a parking lot shooting on Tucker Drive.

Officer responded to a report of shots fired in the 2800 block of Tucker Drive on Monday, November 9, 2015, at 5:20pm.  As the officers were responding, they were told that a man had been shot in the parking lot of 2814 Tucker.  The officers arrived to find a 31 year old black male suffering from a gunshot wound.  The victim, Robert Byrd Jr., was transported to the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased by medical authorities at 8:28pm.  Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin ordered an autopsy to be performed at the Southwest Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.
