KPD Investigates a Pursuit

The Killeen Police Department is investigating a pursuit.

Killeen Police Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a 2007 GMC Suburban at the Long Branch Park located at 1101 Branch Drive, on March 15, 2017, at approximately 11:51 p.m. for a curfew violation.  The suspect driver refused to stop and a vehicle pursuit ensued.  The suspect driver continued to flee from officers through the nearby neighborhood at high rate of speed.  The suspect driver continued traveling southbound on W.S. Young Drive towards the East Gate.  The suspect driver drove past the checkpoint onto Fort Hood before the barrier was deployed.  The suspect vehicle was later located without a suspect.  Narcotics were located inside the vehicle.
