KPD Investigates Debit Card Abuse
Killeen Police are asking for your help identifying Debit Card Abuse suspect.
On September 9, 2016, the victim contacted the Killeen Police Department about someone using their debit card without their permission. The victim discovered the fraudulent charge for approximately $2,000 that was made to buy electronic equipment at the Best Buy located at 3209 E. Central Texas Expressway, on September 8, 2016. The suspect then attempted to make other purchases online but the card was denied. The victim advised their card was never out of their possession.
Detectives are asking anyone who can identify the suspect or knows anything about this Debit Card Abuse, to contact Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477) or go online anonymously at www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com. All information is anonymous and confidential and if your tip leads to the arrest of the suspect responsible for this crime, you could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 in cash.
