KPD Investigates Early Morning Robberies

Killeen Police investigate two early morning Robberies.

Killeen Police responded to a report of a Robbery at The 7-11 Convenience Store located at 1000 N. WS Young Drive, on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 5:31am.  Upon the officers arrival they were told that a black male entered the store, displayed a weapon and demanded money from the store clerk.  After a few words were exchanged, the suspect exited the store and fled on foot in an unknown direction.  No one was injured in this incident.

Officers were notified at 5:43am of another Robbery at the Mickey’s Convenience Store located at 4808 Westcliff Road.  The officers were told that a black male approached the store clerk who outside in front of the store, displayed a weapon and demanded money.  The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction after a few words were exchanged.  No one was injured during this incident.

The suspect in both Robberies is described as a thin black male, approximately 5’6” tall and was last seen wearing; a gray t-shirt, blue jeans and a white t-shirt covering his face.
