KPD and FBI Investigate Robbery

Killeen Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations are investigating a Bank Robbery on Trimmier Road.

Officers responded to the 1st National Bank Texas located at 2201 Trimmier Road at 4:39pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in reference to a bank robbery that had just occurred.  Upon the officers arrival they were told that a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans walked into the bank and approached the teller, and demanded money in a threatening manner however a weapon was not displayed.  After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the area on foot northbound on Trimmier.  The suspect is described to be approximately 5’5” tall and weighs between 120 -130 pounds.

No employees or patrons were harmed during this incident.

This case continues to be investigated by the FBI and the Killeen Police Department Criminal Investigations Division; additional information will be released as it becomes available.
