NEWS RELEASE: KILLEEN POLICE INVESTIGATE A SHOOTING ON WEST HALLMARK AVE

Killeen, TX (June 21st, 2025): The Killeen Police Department is actively investigating a shooting resulting in two victims.


On Saturday, June 21st, 2025, at approximately 12:46 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West Hallmark Ave in reference to a shooting victim. Upon arrival, officers discovered two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Killeen Fire Department EMS responded and rendered aid. A 21-year-old male victim was transported by ambulance to Baylor Scott & White in good condition. An 18-year-old male victim was transported by Ambulance to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center and later transported to Baylor Scott and White Hospital where he is currently in critical condition.


The preliminary investigation reveals that the victims were standing outside the business talking and socializing with two other males. A black male with a mask over his face, wearing all dark clothing was seen entering the parking lot on foot and he started to shoot multiple times. The suspect then got into a dark colored sedan and fled.


The Killeen Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, Robbery-Homicide Unit, is actively investigating. Detectives are asking residents and businesses in the area to review their surveillance cameras for any individuals in the vicinity around the time of the shooting.
