Killeen Police Officer Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated
Killeen, TX (October 30, 2024): On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at approximately 7:11 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Stagecoach Road in reference to a disturbance inside a vehicle. Through the investigation it revealed that the driver, an off-duty Killeen Police Officer, was driving the vehicle while intoxicated. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Killeen City Jail. Justice of the Peace Cliff Coleman arraigned the officer and set his bond at $3000.
The officer is an 8-year veteran of the department.
The Killeen Police Department has initiated an Internal Affairs investigation and the police officer has been placed on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of the investigation.
No other information will be released at this time.
