Updated Parking Ordinance Map

The KilleenTexas.gov website GIS map depicting the restricted truck parking was recently updated.  The City determined that the map did not accurately depict the neighboring properties that were used as residential, and did not completely reflect the language of the ordinance.

The changes have been minimal with relatively few areas that were impacted.  Since the time that these updates were released, the Police Department has continued to enforce parking ordinance violations in these areas primarily through the use of warning citations, however effective today the Department will resume the use of hard citations and towing in its enforcement efforts in these areas.

Please use the updated map for reference when parking large trucks.

The current version of the map can be viewed at: https://gisweb.killeentexas.gov/RestrictedParking/
